thank you everyone who has been commenting on our posts. I love hearing what people think about what I do... it feels like synapses connecting in a big brain.

sometimes people read between the lines and notice something I had hidden, and it's pleasing. sometimes people have a completely different interpretation from anything I imagined, and that's somehow more pleasing.

all my comics this year are going to be about the same thing, which is whether or not to let your circumstances change you. or – how to cope, if you find that the change is happening and you are powerless to resist it.

last month I was very upset about my circumstances changing me. I wrote another comic about still being upset about my circumstances changing me, intending to draw it for this post. I decided to do this one instead, since it's more optimistic.
